NE Rim of Alphonsus model 1968

Plasticene.  This is the first model done at Syracuse University while teaching Design in the School of Architecture. Note the same crater floor as in the Alphonsus Alpha model.  This was later cast in epoxy and transported to Tucson where I met a few times a year at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory with Dr. Kuiper, Ewan Whitaker and Robert Strom about the progress of the model.
